United Way Volunteer Nominee

John Steines
2017 United Way Community Volunteer Nominee

John Steines has volunteered at the Farley Center for a number of years, offering his creative voice to our mix. He gave an art making workshop at one open house, using found branches and turning them into walking sticks. He also helped lead the Farley Center with an art project for the Intentionally Welcoming Communities Outdoor Art Exhibit and has participated in our Environmental Art exhibits at the Center.

John not only volunteers at the Farley Center but at Silver Dane Park and many other community organizations while working full time. His artistic talent and expertise has benefited the Madison community over the years. John's willingness and enthusiastic attitude has allowed many in our community to be exposed to art.

Thank you John.
