Join us on for the Madison Elected Officials Food Forum, a free public event on March 27th 2017 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Badger Rock Neighborhood Center in Madison where we’ll explore what our community can do to create a more healthy, sustainable, equitable local food system!

What: A Madison Elected Officials Food Forum where a panel of local candidates will take questions from people in the community about creating a more sustainable, equitable, healthy food system. An informal “meet-and-greet” between local elected officials and community members will take place before the panel/Q&A.
Why: To provide a space for community members to tell decision-makers their stories about how our food system affects them, hear elected officials’/candidates’ ideas and plans for improving our local food system, and shine a light on actionable areas for improvement within our community.
When: Event is planned for Monday March 27th 2017 from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. Elected Official/Candidate Meet-and-Greet from 6:30-7:30 and panel/Q&A from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Where: Badger Rock Neighborhood Center
Panelists will include: Sheri Carter (Common Council Alder, District 14), Ali Muldrow (Candidate for School Board, Seat 6), Kate Toews (Candidate for School Board, Seat 6), Zach Wood (Common Council Alder, District 8), Bradley Campbell (Candidate for Common Council Alder, District 11), Arvina Martin (Candidate for Common Council Alder, District 11).
