Farley Farmers

Sam Kirschbaum
Sam Kirschbaum began his market garden-style farm Rainbow Table in the fall of 2018. He specializes in small-scale (~.5 acre) vegetable and herb production using mostly hand tools, cover crops and tarps. Sam began his career in farming in 2016 after serving in the Air Force and then finding his calling to be a grower while backpacking the Appalachian Trail. After working for several other small organic farms, he now grows a variety of crops, but focuses on growing for value-added products such as sauerkraut and other ferments. In addition to Rainbow Table at the Farley Center, Sam is also the co-owner and production manager of New Americana Hemp, growing hemp for CBD. He has a certificate in Foundations of Farm Management from the University of Wisconsin.
