Antonio Ruiz and Panfilo Orea have been operating their farm, Productos Valle Verde, at the Farley Center since 2014. Antonio grew up farming fruit and vegetables in Oaxaca. He also worked on farms in California before moving to Madison. His brother-in-law, Panfilo, comes from Puebla, and was mostly a cook before learning to farm.

They enjoy working outdoors and growing fresh food to cook and eat. Their crops include onions, peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. And they have planted many fruit trees and berry plants for future harvest. You can find them selling their produce at many Farmer’s markets.
