Every other year, the Farley Center collects gently used purses and toiletries and volunteers help put together and wrap the purses and they are donated to various selected community groups. This is a program that we do every other year since 2015. In 2015, we collected 159 purses and 174 in 2017. We hope to collect even more for 2019. Agrace Thrift Store and The Wander Parlour help us with collecting purses and we also collect at the Farley Center. Heading up the 2019 program is Farley Center Volunteer Linda Josheff who is our “Purses for a Purpose” Coordinator for this program.Start cleaning out your closets and bring in your gently used purses!
