These fabric postcards sent to us from the earth bear the marks of change in nature reminding that something dynamic and wonderful is happening even in the deterioration of these materials. They invite us to see the sights and linger in the beauty forming from the old, the imperfect, the discarded.
Cynthia Reynolds is primarily a textile artist. The Farley Center with its open doors, co-op farms and natural burial ground draws her into using her love of textiles to participate in being one with nature. This was Cynthia’s fourth year creating installations at the Farley Center.
