Life and death move through us as we move through them, moment by moment, season by season. We grow, we blossom we bear fruit. Our roots nourish and sustain us. This piece stands on the site where my husband, Ken, and I hope to be put back in the earth, amongst the roots, when our time comes.

Efrat Livny’s art is inspired by nature and native traditions. Her mixed media creations utilize found and recycled objects collected as she wanders through her neighborhood and around the world. She is a healer and has an interest in the continuum of health and illness, life and death.
