NPS – Green Burial Presentation/Tour

Farley Center Director and Natural Path Sanctuary (NPS) Coordinator Shedd Farley will give a presentation and answer your questions about green burial. A tour of the NPS will follow.

Please reserve a spot by e-mailing or calling the Farley Center at 608-845-8724.

Optional tour of the Natural Path Sanctuary (NPS) by Director Shedd Farley following the presentation. The tour is contingent upon weather but for those who attend who would like a tour, we can schedule you in for a future NPS private tour date with Director Shedd Farley. There are stairs at the Center to the meeting space, if unable to do stairs, please let us know and a private meeting will be set up on another date to meet with Director Shedd Farley. Also, to let people know who are allergic to cats, there is a cat on the premises. Light refreshments will be served.

Farley Center Volunteer Day

Please join the Spartan Youth Service (SYS) and other Farley Center volunteers. Meet at the Center at 1:30 p.m. We will be doing outdoor clean up work Please dress for outdoor weather and bring work gloves and water bottles. Snacks/drinks will be available for volunteers. If you have any questions or want to sign up, please e-mail programs@farleycenter.org.

Spartan Youth Service (SYS) is James Madison Memorial High School’s largest volunteering club. There are over 200 dedicated students in SYS and the club mission is to do service work around our community.

The Spartan Youth Service students have volunteered at the Farley Center on Oct. 12 and Nov. 11- so Nov. 22 is the third time they are volunteering a the Center!
